Beautiful garden Lori...but did you know that Toronto just implemented a bylaw allowing them to cut all boulevards with soft landscaping over 8 inches tall and to charge the adjacent landowner with the costs of doing so? All part of Toronto's rejection of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Ontario courts have ruled that residents have the RIGHT to garden on boulevards adjacent to their homes, and sight line limits were set to 1 metre, so technically your garden is legal, but you might have to fight City Hall nonetheless. Toronto is cutting back on Fire trucks, but increasing their Garden Police forces. Our tax dollars put to good use!
